Cook [NOC 63200] 

-Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes and foods, and authentic Vietnamese Cuisine dishes, specifically pho noodle soup and chicken noodle pho soup

-Prepare and cook other special meals for customers request such as dietitian, gluten free meals and food allergies

-Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

-Order supplies as needed

-Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment daily basic

-Ensure safe working environment

-Understand the food safety and sanitize working station

-Be able to plan menus, understanding food portion, estimate food requirement and food cost concept

-Clean kitchen and work areas

-Trade Certificate or diploma in Culinary arts/chef training or equivalent experience

-Must have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience

-Must know how to cook pho, chicken noodle pho, and other Vietnamese dishes

-Be able to work evenings and weekends

-Be attention to detail oriented

-Be able to work in fast-paced environment

-Be able to do physically demanding task, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods of time and work under pressure

-Be dependable, flexible, takes initiative, has judgment, organized, reliable and a team player
