About the position
- Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes and foods, and authentic Vietnamese Cuisine dishes, specifically pho noodle soup and chicken noodle pho soup
- Prepare and cook other special meals for customers request such as dietitian, gluten free meals and food allergies
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies as needed
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment daily basic
- Ensure safe working environment
- Understand the food safety and sanitize working station
- Be able to plan menus, understanding food portion, estimate food requirement and food cost concept
- Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
- No degree, certificate or diploma required however a degree related to cooking would be an asset
- Must have at least 1 year of related experience
- Must know how to cook pho, chicken noodle pho, and other Vietnamese dishes
